We are seeking temporary assembly specialists for our manufacturing facility. Assembly positions learn, under direct supervision, to build modular door and wall sections for walk-in refrigeration or cabinet style units by assembling sheet metal sections, placing sections in pallets, loading pallets into an insulating foam injection machine, helping to remove foamed sections from pallets and performing related duties.

These assignments are through the end of October/Mid-November.   $500 Stay Bonus!   $15.32 starting wage. 


These positions work a 4-10s schedule, Monday - Thursday either 5:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m or 3:30 p.m to 2:00 a.m. We also hire for a Weekend Shift that is 5:00 am to 5:00 p.m Friday - Sunday. Overtime may be required for all shifts.

Following are examples of job duties:

  • Reads blueprints and assembly instructions
  • Measures distances for placement of components within subassemblies
  • Uses hand tools to drill holes and perform other modifications
  • Assembles walk-in sections for foaming including those that contain wood pieces, special locks and strikes, cut-outs, ramps, etc
  • Cleans all excess foam from the foamed sections
  • Determines appropriate information labels based on blueprints or assembly instructions (e.g. UL stickers, serial numbers, etc.) and places them on completed sections
  • Cleans foreign material from the rails and pallets
  • Checks for defects in component parts and reports them to the supervisor
  • Performs housekeeping around his/her work area

The job requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic computation including fractions
  • Skill in manipulating and interpreting a tape measure
  • Skill in reading and interpreting floor plans, blueprints and assembly instructions
  • Skill in using small hand and power tools
  • Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions and company policies
  • Ability to evaluate and resolve problems
  • Ability to communicate with others in a professional and productive manner
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to grasp and manipulate small parts and hand tools
  • Ability to plan ahead and anticipate consequences
  • Ability to perform the work with concern for the safety of self and others
